Overview of our Hotel

Welcome to the Auberge du Désert where we offer you a stopover of calm and tranquility in a preserved and unique natural setting. After exploring the Roanne valley and its magnificent landscapes, you will receive a warm and personalized welcome in this 15th century castle. Far from the noise, between relaxation and walks, you will be immersed in a space of authenticity, a friendly atmosphere, and you can relax in the SPA (opening spring 2024).

The Pays de la Roanne (the watershed of this river and its tributaries is what we call it) is located in the heart of the Drôme department, in the center of a triangle formed by the towns of Crest, Die and Nyons, 40 minutes away from these and about an hour from Valencia.
It is a mid-mountain country in transition between Diois and Drôme Provençale.
You can get there either from the north, from the Drôme Valley (Die, Crest, Saillans), or from the south (Bourdeaux, Dieulefit, Nyons).

The hotel is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
Breakfasts are served from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. (reserve the day before).
No other meals are served, but small catering is possible (reservation required).

SUMMER HOURS

(July and August)
Every day of the week
Open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
You will be offered a small meal (tapas), lunch and dinner, ice creams, cocktails...
